About the role
As a CDL Driver, you will perform duties associated with transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and the client’s sites. Drivers will have the opportunity to operate a variety of equipment including vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, and flat beds.
Responsibilities:
Operate equipment in a safe manner following DOT regulations and company policies and regulations.
Drive commercial vehicles to pick up and transport waste to a designated location safely while meeting scheduled appointments and following all DOT regulations.
Ensure placarding of the vehicle meets DOT regulations.
Maintain paperwork including expense reports, timesheets, vehicle inspection reports, manifests, and job sheets.
Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
Secure cargo prior to and during transit.
Complete additional assigned duties.

Position Requirements & Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Reworld offers GED Works – a fully funded program for employees to achieve their GED.
CDL A License
Minimum of 1 year experience driving tractor and trailer, preferred
Manual transmission
Abide by standard DOT regulations at all times.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule rotating shifts. Work on weekends and holidays.
Physical Demands of the Role:
Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb
Ability to lift/carry 50lbs
Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
Qualify to wear a full-face respirator
Consistently work in various weather conditions
